SEPTEMBER 2007: THE KNIGHTS LAND ON PLANET NERD
SUBURBAN KNIGHTS Creator Craig Tonkin was recently interviewed for the mind-blowing show PLANET NERD.
Normally we wouldn't allow one of the Knights to go public like Craig did. We prefer to maintain a veil of secrecy to avoid getting mauled by fans and hysterical women. But we figured it was probably healthy for Craig to get out and meet some new people.

JUNE 2007: THE FINAL CUT
It's time to celebrate at the Citadel! The Final Cut of 'SUBURBAN KNIGHTS: Episode 1 'THE RECKONING' has just been completed and today we commence work on the final soundtrack.
So in about a week prepare to have your collective minds blown as we unleash 'SUBURBAN KNIGHTS' upon the Web! Tell your friends. Tell your family. Kneel down, pray and tell your dead relatives because this is it! We are trying our best to keep a lid on the excitement here at the Citadel, but in a moment of sheer madness our Producer went out and bought us all a Coke! Amazing! (we all had to share the one can, but it was still a nice gesture)
We'll be working our arses off for the next few days to get Episode 1 'THE RECKONING' to you as soon as possible. Although we'll be taking time off on Thursday to go and see the new Transformers movie. Which better be good, damn it! Because if it sucks then the Knights are coming for you Michael Bay! And if the rumors are true and you do have a pair of nuts then we'll be coming for them too!
MAY 2007 PART 2: 'THE RECKONING' WRAPS
STAR WARS turns 30 and thankfully last weekend saw the final frames of 'SUBURBAN KNIGHTS: Episode 1 'THE RECKONING' enter the can. (the film can, that is. The frames weren't taking a crap.) We can fully empathise with how George Lucas felt those 31 years ago when the shooting of 'A NEW HOPE' was completed. Now we don't pretend for a minute that our humble little project could near the lofty heights of that seminal masterpiece, but God damn it, we guarantee that SUBURBAN KNIGHTS will contain every drop of our blood, sweat and tears because we know you've come to expect it!
So post-production is now in full swing. Our FX geek is bitching about the thousands of frames he now has to roto-scope lightsabers into but as we keep reminding him: shut up and do what you're told you fat-arsed gimp.
We hope to bring you the completed 'SUBURBAN KNIGHTS: Episode 1 'THE RECKONING' within a few weeks, so while you count the days be sure to keep checking this site for updates. Now go to bed and stop wasting your parents' expensive bandwidth.
MAY 2007: NICE SHOOTIN'!
Finally, filming has recommenced and things are ticking over nicely. There's a great sense of purpose here at the Citadel as sequences and Visual Effects start to take shape. We don't want to get ahead of ourselves, (because rarely can the words 'genius', 'high-art' and 'balls' be used in the same sentance) but 'SUBURBAN KNIGHTS: Episode 1 'THE RECKONING' is shaping up to be a bit of genius high-art with balls the size of grapefruit. Even if we do say so ourselves.
MARCH 2007: 1 WEDDING & 2 LIGHTSABERS
OK, so we'd like to be able to tell you that the principal photography of SUBURBAN KNIGHTS has been completed. But alas, that's not the case. This is due in no small part to the fact that our rather selfish Producer decided to go off and get married, thereby putting the entire production on hiatus. Arsehole. We didn't even get an invite.
Anyway, in the meantime our props department have spared no expense in rebuilding our new industrial strength Lightsabers. We're confident that the two new Sabers (which we have code-named "Hurt-Giver" and "Hot 'n' Pointy") will withstand the gruelling punishment that is about to be visited upon them. This comes at a critical time as our stunt co-ordinators are putting the finishing touches on the brain-blowing epic duel that is to form the centrepiece of the aptly titled 'Episode 1: THE RECKONING'.
Production will re-commence as soon as we secure filming permission from whomever owns a certain strip of land in Port Melbourne. I dunno...we've sent emails, filled out forms, returned innumerable phone calls...what is it about the words 'Lightsabers', 'Star Wars' and 'over-enthusiastic nerds' that make people seem so hesitant in wanting to deal with us? I mean, we're ARTISTS for Christ's sake!
JANUARY 2007 PT 2: THE ART TAKES SHAPE
We've just completed another phase of artistically intense filming. The opening scene of SUBURBAN KNIGHTS has just been cut together, our Producer's still drooling over his new laptop computer and things are starting to get back to normal here at the Citadel.

Yes! We can officially announce that this is the full title of the first installment of the earth-shattering, mind-altering, ground-breaking SUBURBAN KNIGHTS SAGA.

JANUARY 2007 PT 1: BASTARD BURGLAR
Happy New Year to all the SK acolytes out there!
Unfortunately 2007 has not started out well for us here at the SK Citadel. Some drug-fuelled reprobate (you know who you are, dirtbag!) busted into our fortified offices and made off with a crucial bit of gear: our Producer's laptop. Certain files were contained on this machine that were vital to bringing the completed SUBURBAN KNIGHTS to YOU, our adoring fans.
But fear not. Like the professionals we are, we strive onward. Our Producer's machine has been replaced and work is continuing around the clock to restore the lost material.
In the meantime you can play your part. If, during your daily routine, you happen upon anybody looking even remotely suspicious, kick the crap out of them. It'll make us feel a lot better. And if they happen to be carrying an Apple Laptop, swipe it. Just to prove a point.
